Thanksgiving @ The Combs

You know what that means???? Lots and lots of food, let me see if I can recall the menu,,, 2 Turkeys, oyster and plain stuffing, Honey Spiral ham, Mash Taters, Gravy, Fried Oysters, Homemade Mac n Cheese, Cole Slaw, Green Bean, Kale, Beets, Cucumbers with vinegar, Cranberry sauce, sweet potatoes, devil eggs, corn, rolls, apple pie, 2 pumpkin pies, cherry pie, cheese cake. And I am sure I forgot a couple of things. We had Dad, Geraldine, Lester, Cynthia, Rita, Jamie, Casey, and my gang for dinner. It was a really nice day, nice and low keyed. Dad got here at 12:30, and stayed until 6:30. You know that's a long time for him, it really was a great family day!

I think I am holding my apple pie, no cranberries this time. It sure was good! You know come to think of it, I think there is still Turkey in our fridge! I better check that out tomorrow! YIKES!!!
