Hello there.......

Been really busy the last couple days, a lot of house stuff! Like yesterday I pressure cooked/canned vegetable soup. This was my first attempt. I don't know how it turned out, but I am waiting about a week and check my results, I did learn a few lessons, like not too much liquid, I guess the vegetables will release their own liquid too. So, it's trail and error. We will see....

We also took all the curtains down in the living room, which if you know my living room, that's a lot of curtains! Washed all the windows inside and out and made maintaining repairs, like checking for leaks in the windows, chalking, and deciding what needs to be repainted. Right now we have some repainting to do! Then I snapped a bushel of green beans. I also cooked a big dinner, whole baked chicken, stuffing, mashed taters, & gravy, my green beans, and beets! Then we watched the Redskins loose to the Giants! So sad!! They played so good the first half and then,,,, Oh well, better luck next week!!! Go Skins!!!!

Today was a productive day also, we finished up the most of the window stuff, we still need to wash the 3 kitchen windows though, maybe tomorrow! I canned 14 quarts of green beans, we vacuumed the living room and did a little straightening up, and guess what happen when we flipped the sofa to vacuum under there?? We found Lisa's long lost bracelet, I gave her with the heart on it, so Lisa if you are reading this, look in the mail it is off to you soon!! Aren't you so happy now?!?! I went to Walmart, as much as I hate Walmart! Had to get stuff like t-paper, paper towels, cleaning stuff, shampoo, deodorant all that kind of stuff, 2 carts full! That place is a total mess, I mean how long does it take? Guess what for those who don't know, they now have a Subway in there! That's cool huh? Oh, I want to wish Becky a Happy Birthday!!! Tomorrow is her big day! I hope you day is as adorable as you!!!!!!!
I am going to post my apple picking pictures soon, did I tell you we got 12 bushels? I think this week we need to get started on them, it's a lot of work!!! But that apple sauce tastes so nice! Okay world time for me to go, I will update tomorrow after WW weigh in, wish me luck! Oh, don't you just love my cartoon with the woman and the scale? I just LOVE IT! I think it is so cute, that I don't want to take it down! Love you- mean it!!!
