Just a Quickie

Just to fill you in Friday we did not scrap because of the retreat, racing, and work schedules. So Friday what did I do? Not much I think, Went down Dad's and had lunch with them, crabs...went back down Dad's later that evening and pick 2 bushels of tomatoes. I can't even remember what else I did?? Old frinking age I guess?!? Oh!! I know, I bake 2 apples pies, one for here sugar free, it was okay, I let it cook too long and it tasted like applesauce pie, instead of apple pie. But it will get eaten! I took the other one, not sugar-free to Dad, he has been hinting and hinting so, I hope he likes it! I know what else we did, we went by this guys house on Queen Tree Road and picked pears, we got a bushel and a half! Hey, I remembered now!!! WOW! :)


I know on Saturday I commenced, with the help of Richard, we canned 2 bushels of tomatoes, 8 pints of peppers, and 12 quarts of lima beans. Went down Dad's again, picked up almost a whole bushel of cooked female crabs, (to pick for the freezer.) and believe this or not, we picked 2 bushels of green beans! Then we ran Mike up to Brian and Janet's house so he could baby-sit for them. Went to foodlion in Charlotte Hall, stop at Southern States, bought some kale and spinach seeds, I know it's a little late for planting them, but hell, we are going to try anyway. Came home and cooked Kay's meal for her scrappin retreat! I made Ham, Homemade Mac n Cheese, my Green Beans, and Beets! Tommy and Bradley came by to visit awhile, Bradley was telling me all about his football team, and how they are undefeated! You rock on!!! They went in the woods looking for deer markings, they did find some, and they checked out where they wanted to hunt this year, so Bambi watch out!! After they left, we delivered Kay's food to them, and checked out the lodge they are staying at, it really was a lot nicer than I had image. All the girls were having a good time scrappin, hanging out with no make-up on, slippers on, and just having plan old scrapping fun!


After our visit with them we decided to take the kids and ME, over Solomons Island and have an ice cream cone at Cone Island. I got a monster vanilla with nuts!! It was huge, and I ate the whole thing! Then, we went to the foodlion in Lusby, to visit Rita at work, we hung out there a while watching people buy their groceries! Fun huh??? Well, after we bugged her we, decided to go home. Well when we got home, Richard and Ben started in about "what's for dinner???" I'm like I just ate a monster size ice cream I am full, that was my dinner! You guys find something to eat on your own! What's wrong with ICE CREAM FOR DINNER????? I think that is super great menu! I was happy.


We got a movie off of pay per view, "Wild Hogs" it was funny, we all watched it together in my bedroom and laughed! It's kind of lame, but, it was one of those movies you could just watch no thinking involved!


Well, I haven't even told you what we did on Sunday...... I will let you just wonder until tomorrow, I have to save something for ya! For a quickie, it wasn't all that quick was it? Love you-mean it!
