Monday, was a holiday, so the kids and Richard were off, guess what we did, yes, work! WE canned the bushel and half of pears, they turned out really nice. I wished I had took a picture before we put them all away. Later, we watched a movie, while we snapped 2 bushels of green beans, and shelled a bushel of limas. I put them in the refrigerator, to work on Wednesday, which I did, 24 more quarts of green beans! I am not canning anymore this year! (I think) I still have more limas to do but, they are easy I just throw them in the freezer. So I put away all my canning stuff! Besides that I am totally out of quart jars!!!
Now, I am getting things together for Friday scrappin, I have some cooking to do! And store runs as usual! Does it ever end? I feel like I am always going to the grocery store!!! Cause I am!
Hey! did any of you look outside and see what there??? Fall is finally here! I turned off the AC, last night and open the windows, now today I am running around closing the windows, brrrrrrr!
Have a good day! Love you-mean it!

Wow, I am impressed!! 125 quarts of applesauce. That Martha Stewart doesn't have anything on you! You go girl!
I wonder if you can do a sugar free apple butter... or would it turn out like spiced apple sauce? Oh yeah also I've been looking into the whole rice pudding thing you told me to keep an eye out for daddy, and I think I might have a recipe that might work... I'm in the middle of trying it out now. I've never had a rice pudding that I ever liked but this one is considered a traditional one (which is really a rice custard, because in jolly ol' England what we call pudding they call custard, and what they call pudding is what we call a bread pudding...) so I'm going to see how it goes and let you know. I've also got a buch of things I'm going to send you but I've been to busy for my own good (and lazy...) so yeah. Thank you very much for the bracelet. I thought it might have fallen down into the couch but the one in 'my' bedroom, I never thought about looking in the living room. *Sigh* oh well... I'll talk to you later.
Slow down Ms. Ruth I got tired just reading all you did, hey could not help but notice the rice pudding conversation if you are in need of a recp let me know it has been made for generations in my family and i could get it for you, But you DO NOT want me to cook it yucky!!!!!
